Hi.
Alan Kotok of
W3C is pictured at http://en.
wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Kotok.
Alan Kotok of GCA is pictured at http://www.ebxmlbook.com/authors.html.
You can see the two them together at http://www.kotok.org/, about half-way down
the page. Hopefully the late Mr. Kotok is reunited with his wife, who passed
away last October, and the latter Mr. Kotok will be with us for many more years
to come.
Peace,

Folks,
Just so there is no confusion - Alan Kotok of W3C who has just passed away
is not to be confused with Alan Kotok of GCA who has been a strong proponent
of ebXML.

Alan Kotok, a long-time contributor to this list and ebXML advocate,
has died of an apparent heart attack on May 26. His obituary was
published in today's Boston Globe.
I didn't know him personally but his posts always seemed to be crafted
of reason and gentlemanliness, devoid of the vitriol one sees so
frequently these days in on-line groups.
He was a former Digit from the glory years and a Red Sox fan.
