We are a small non profit publisher. We have 3 trading partners. One
trading partner requires an 856. I have talked to a number of EDI
vendors all of whom offer translation services but we need a bit more
than that.

I'd like to find a solution our warehouse people can use. They are
wonderful people but they are not computer gurus. We need some sort
of solution which would take the 850 and present it graphically to the
warehouse person. They would then pack the box of books in boxes and
then tell the EDI solution the box was packed. Then a UCC128 label
would print which would be applied to the box.

We have a scanner. Ideally this EDI solution could connect to the
scanner. As each book is inserted into a box, it would be scanned.
The EDI solution would compare that scan against the 850 to determine
if the book is one which is on the order. This would eliminate
packing errors. We are charged a hefty fine if we ship incorrectly.

What EDI solutions might you suggest?
