And just how have you jumped to the conclusion, based on anything read in or
into the responses, that any one of us is "untrustworthy"? As
professionals, most of us are willing to be open and candid, and we do not
hide behind pseudonyms. It is charactaristic of people worthy of trust to
know and be known. The untrustworthy are generally the ones who need to
conceal their identities ... and to become defensive when their motives are
questioned.

This has got to be the most untrustworthy group of people. Can't
anyone just break from the normal day to day drudgery that we call
EDI and do something different. Does it really matter why a poll is
conducted? Have you ever just been involved in a poll just because
you liked the question?

Maybe someone out there is looking for a new translator but can't
decide on which one to choose. What if the results of this poll
showed, although not scientifically accurate, that one translator is
more popular ( or at least used more often) than another. I mean,
who wouldn't want to at least check out the most popular translator.
There must be a reason for its popularity and widespread use.

I do appreciate the feedback from everyone that has provided input to
the poll so far.......
