Monitoring and Managing Biztalk Server 2002 with MOM - Microsoft Operations
Manager 2000 (MOM) delivers enterprise-class operations management by
providing comprehensive event management, proactive monitoring and alerting,
reporting, and trend analysis. Biztalk Server 2002 ships with an Application
Management Pack that allows MOM to track and manage Biztalk Servers. This
talk will include an overview of MOM, and demonstrate the Application
Management Pack for Biztalk 2002.

The talk will be delivered by Bill Trinh and Mark Kottke, both of Microsoft
Consulting Services in the Pacwest District. Bill is a Microsoft veteran
who has consulted with many local companies on MOM implementations. He is
currently working with the MOM product group to help define best practices
for MOM in production environments. Mark has years of experience in
enterprise application architecture, and has been focused on implementing
Biztalk solutions since it RTMed.


Note: the April meeting will be held in the Building 43/1540 Adams room.

The Seattle BizTalk Special Interest Group (SIG) is an informal group who
subscribe to an electronic forum and attend evening meetings on the 3rd
Monday of each month. The primary objective of the group is to educate and
