<MISC/EVENT> What Would You Say to A Congressman Re HIPAA?
Let me explain. I live in Iowa. Congressman Greg Ganske is running for the
US Senate nomination for Iowa. We have a curious little event called
Caucuses in Iowa. Saturday is our District Caucuses for the state. I'm a
delegate and will probably be working to set up the event. Ganske will be
there looking for votes for our June 4 primary and to recruit political
activists for his campaign. Long as I have this captive audience, I'd like
to hit him with intelligent questions or problems with HIPAA from our EDI
perspective.
Oh, Congressman Jim Nussle will also be there since this is his district's
caucus, and he's running for reelection in a newly redrawn district. Nussle
is Chairman of the House Budget Committee.
