Hello JG!

According to my handy-dandy EDISIM (you have one of
those, don't you?) the MAN segment is defined as "max
use > 1". That says to me that, in theory, the
document you are getting is compliant. Be thankful
that you can get the ASN at all, and create a new map
for this vendor. As you pointed out, this method is
only acceptable for standard pack.

OTOH, you may want to send your 856 Implementation
Guide to that vendor and ask them to comply to it.
I'm pretty sure that your guide calls for one MAN per
HL*P.
