RE: <MISC> Penney to stop doing business with Sterling

Jeff,
Sterling did good by me with first call to my rep and one return
comment (term) on their initial quote, so at this point I am happy to stay
with what I think is the best network in existence.
We switched off off GEIS 3 years ago due to poor support and a lack
of any respect for us (since we were already a customer). And here is the
kicker - we spent $1mil per year with them!! EDI portion was only 3K per
month (still spend less with Sterling)but we used their network for remote
connections(not anymore!!). They would not take care of anything for us.
And now everything I get from GE on the JCP issue is very pointed that we
HAVE to switch off Sterling, and that is absolutely a lie. Same old thing
from them, they tell you anything to get you then too bad later when you
need support.
If Sterling doesn't take care of this with their customers, I would
at least talk to that other company (QRS or something) that Eckerd has also
signed up with. They at least told me that we did not have to move off
Sterling (honesty I like that), as long as we dealt with the network issues
ourselves. Since I have never called Penney for any network related issues
it was a moot point anyway.
I have to stop ranting now --- but I feel better.
All that relates to support is my personal experience - yours may be (I
hope) much better.

My personal opinion is that I would re-negotiate your prices Sterling.
Take..........
