RE: 114 Replacment in 4010

Gary,
This document was removed for the standard list in the earlier 90s. Most of
the integrated carriers (UPS, FedEx, Emery and so on) will use the 214 in
place of the 114. There is also the CARGO-IMP standard that all air cargo
companies must use. There are service out that process the CARGO-IMP
messages and provide them to end-users. It's very difficult to receive a
CARGO-IMP message without paying for one of these services.
To provide assitance with the rest of your message I would need to know what
type of Air Freight you are moving.
Hope this helps,
John

Subject: [EDI-L] 114 Replacment in 4010
All,
What happened to the 114 Air Status message? What is best used in its place.
The 104 and 110 don't seem good matches for tracking air shipments across
milestones with reason codes.
Thanks,
Gary Bligh
