TLE and XML

I have a great deal of knowledge in traditional EDI. Currently we use
Peregrine's TLE e5.1. We have a trading partner that has requested that we
implement XML data transfers. I know enough about XML to be dangerous
(almost nothing). Does TLE support the generation of XML documents?
