Gentran Error

A friend called and said he was using Gentran Director
on Windows and could not import a TDF file -
"nothing happens".

I do not use Gentran, so, if this makes sense to anybody, or if I could
point him
in the right direction, great, if not, thanks anyway …

(He has already called Gentran support without any satisfaction.)
