DELVRY03 outbound IDOC
We're on SAP R/3 4.6b. Has anyone implemented the DELVRY03 basic type
IDOC to create outbound ASNs (X12 EDI 856) to customers? Our
customers use the following formats of the 856: S/O/I/T/P (Wal-mart),
S/O/I, S/O/P/I, S/O/T/I, S/O/T/P/I. How did you handle the different
sequences required? Which message type did you use? What data did you
find missing from the IDOC where you had to do a user exit? Where is
the best source of information for this? Do you have any mapping
specs you'd be willing to share? We are currently using message type
DESADV with basic type DESADV01 and want to upgrade from the old IDOC
to the new one.
