Gentran/MVS and Gentran/400 have some "extract" functions (from the
communications queues) you could use for this purpose; but I do not know if the
Unix product offers anything.

I honestly believe the best people to answer this one for you are the Sterling
Gentran/Unix support folks. Someone must have asked this of them many times in
the past. (Plus, I have never failed to get excellent support from the
Gentran/MVS or Gentran/400 support people. I can only assume their Unix people
are good, too).
