This is when a hex editor comes in handy. If it is an ASCII file then you
likely have
a 0D0A inserted after each line. 0D0A is the carriage return and line feed
codes.
There are also not displayed except in a hex editor. Whatever your "newline"
code is
it must be removed from your file before processing.
