Darren,
You should take a look at our product Edifix which among other things is
a standards repository for X12 and numerous other standards.
I took a look at your web site and it appears you are involved in almost
all aspects of shipping which will include but go beyond just X12. Gefeg
has the strongest representation in international standards
organizations like UN/Edifact, Edifice as well as being an X12 member.
Both Edifact and Edifice use EDIFIX as their standards repository.
I just returned from the EIDX (www.edix.org) conference and attended
several meetings of the Rosttanet (www.rosettanet.org) user group.
Rosettanet is setting standards for many electronic transactions for the
electronics/computer industry. One of the presenters was one of our
largest customers, Siemens AG. We are planning on getting more involved
with Rosettanet to possibly assist in standards development (PIPs).
GEFEG helped develop the Global Invoice for the automotive industry
(AIAG) and we are looking forward to working with Rosettanet on their
global invoice project.

CD.

I thought I would send a message here to thank all the people on this
list that have answered the questions I've had on EDI recently. I've
learned more here in a week than I did over the past year on my own.
It's refreshing to see that there are still people out there that
will actually answer a question rather than telling someone to RTFM.
