BizTalk.org closed...
Hello,
I guess most of you already saw the notice of Microsoft, to close the open
Framework Community biztalk.org. Now the situation has changed even more. The
site is not only frozen (with a message declaring why the service was shut
down), but also completely removed. www.biztalk.org is forwarded to the product
homepage of the BizTalk Server.
Is anyone here aware of an Web article with some more information on that?
Personally I think this was a big mistake for Microsoft, cause the vendor
independent reputation (if there was any) from BizTalk Framework is totally
ruined. I get the impression, this is mainly because the BizTalk Server is used
for non-BizTalk Communication lately.
Anyway, I am curious when we will see BEPL4WS inside the BizTalk Server (instead
of XLang).
Are there any EDI consultants here who have contributed to the BizTalk Registry?
Did they get a personal message on the close? I guess a lot of people relied on
BizTalk Registry for collaboration and are now unsupported.
