Dale,
Use a separate internal trading partner id for your test inbound and outbound
documents. When you are in test mode reference the test internal trading
partner id and when in production reference the production internal id which
will all controll the ISA envelope appropriately. If you dont have a separate
test environment you wont be able to run both production and test
simultaneously, but at least you can accomodate testing for a specified period
of time then switch to production. If you have a separate test environment the
test internal id would referrence your test mapping and user files processing
the data through your test environment. It's not as clean as having a complete
test environment from separate VAN mailbox through to a separate system for your
application you are interfacing with, but it works.
Thanks,
Dawn

I should add that I know how to add the second Interchange Reference but
don't know how to route the outbound documents to the correct Interchange.

I'm using Harbingers (what ever it's called these days) TLE 5.0.

I have one trading partner that has both a test and production EDI system.

To route the documents correctly I will two ISA envelops set up on my
system. This is not a problem as they have a test and live set of ISA ID's.
They only have one set of GS ID's, however. I'm confused about how to add
two Interchange References (ISA stuff) to a single trading partner. Can
anyone assist me?
