There are a number of enhancements such as support for XML, new adapters, new
functions. Of course, all maps need to
be re-compiled. The biggest apparent difference is in the user interface
updated in Releaase 2.1. Mercator adopted a
more mainstream and current UI that uses properties windows instead of drop-down
menus. The time to become accustomed
to the new UI is a week or two and even shorter for anyone who has used a
Microsoft Visual (C++, Basic, etc.)
programming language.
Mercator's web site, http://www.mercator.com, has all the information you seek
under the Customer Zone -> Enterprise
section under the "Learn about Version n.n" links. I believe you have to be a
registered user.
