Hey! Harold, I think you hit on something! Sounds an awful lot like what MS
did back in the late 80's early 90's buyout the competition then your top
dog, not that they don't do it now.
I wonder if they'll buy the idea for a software company. You know I want to
start a software company that'll produce software that'll compete with their
products, so why not just go ahead and give me the money to go away and not
even get started. Cut right to the chase.
Of course I'm being facetious, and they, CA & MS, would never go for it, but
if I were a braver man I might just try it.
IMHO So many good substitutes have been squashed and so many good products
with good service have been ruined due to the big dogs eliminating the
competition. There will never be a better mouse trap, or as an as good mouse
trap, as long as the big rats control the mouse trap industry.
That's my 2 cents on the topic.
