I think that Tradanet in the UK is based on the EDI*Switch technology.
EDI*Express is a different network with a different user interface
protocol. Both are run by GXS, and there can be some confusion when a
potential client says that they have a mailbox on the 'Geis network'!
Tradanet interworks with EDI*Express more fluently than with other
networks; a reflection on their common ownership. To a certain extent
this confuses the perception of the two as separate networks. To add to
the confusion there are a number of initiatives around the world called
Tradanet; not all of which are based on EDI*Switch technology.
