Gentran Question

Subject: Gentran Question
We have Gentran to handle our EDI traffic. The in-bound EDI documents
are translated into a flat format and saved into a file. My questions
is that could Gentran automate the following tasks:

Whenever there are in-bound EDI documents, Getran pick up right map
to translate. Then Getran will save the translated document into a
file of a unique filename. After the file save is complete, Gentran
move the file to a different directory.

Currently we have a concurrent problem with Gentran. Whenever Gentran
gets an in-bound document, it translates it and append the result to
a predefined file(if the file does not exist, it will create the
file). There is another application renames the file and process it.
Sometimes the application ends up with a corrupt file.

Let me know if you could help and thanks in advance.
