Your first step might be to consult with your trading partner if you
haven't already done that. I hope you are sending this information in
some encrypted or secure method. It is fairly common to use the REF and
DTM for credit card number and expiration date information. American
Express may require their 4 digit ID as well which is not part of the
credit card number. If the bill to and ship to on the PO are different
the credit card company may deny the card number depending on prior
arrangements.
Do you have a method of receiving denied credit cards like an 855?

Does anyone have any details they can provide on where to put credit
card billing info on an 850? I'm thinking a combination of a REF and
DTM, but I'd like to get some input. Ideally, I'd like to put the
following on the 850:

credit card name (e.g. VISA)
credit card number
credit card holder name
exp date.

Any suggestions?
