RE: EDI-INT AS2

Hello,
Sterling is correct. You must have a back up VAN in case of AS2 failures.
IBM and Sterling are the only approved VANS.
Cleo Lexicon should be available in November for the AS400 and will likely
be less that $2,000.

Subject: [EDI-L] EDI-INT AS2
Hi All,
I also have the Wal-Mart mandate looming for EDI-INT AS2.
I-soft does have the 1 free TP license but as I looked into it
further it lacked functionality of what I was looking for unless I
wanted to "upgrade" to another pricing tier.
Sterling Commerce is also coming out with an offering if you run on
UNIX or Windows NT-for AS400 they currently do not have anything to
fill the need.
B-Trade sounded intriguing but the pricing seemed a bit high to me.
Sterling told me Wal-Mart also wants a back up mailbox (as in VAN)
in case of any Production Down scenarios.
Is there anyone out there using EDI-INT AS2 providers we have
discussed? I'd love to hear about the back up's, history & how it's
going for you.
Thanks,
Anne
