Re: X12 vs: XML File Sizes

Good point. One that seems to have gotten lost in this debate! Isn't a
major plus of sending data electronically to allow machines to communicate
with a minimum of human intervention? Why then is the "human readability"
being touted as such a huge plus?
Thanks for the reminder of what the focus of this whole technology (whatever
format or standard) is.
