We're moving forward with a pilot VMI program so if anyone else out there
is doing VMI and would like to share any implementation stories, the good,
the bad and the ugly please feel free to contact me directly.

Thanks and have a good day!

Where to turn for VMI
VMI apps get good marks from users, but enterprise suite vendors may be
overlooked players in automated replenishment quest
The stock overloads that some companies experienced with the abrupt end
of the high-growth 1990s is a recent enough memory that inventory
management remains a priority for many manufacturers. That's why vendor
managed inventory (VMI), and the software systems that support it, also
remains on many a company's list of possible deployments. Contributing
Editor Rob Spiegel spoke with a manufacturer using VMI-as well as
best-of-breed and enterprise suite vendors that offer VMI software-to
determine why to implement VMI, and the technology vendors to turn to
when the time comes.
