Re: translators & SeeBeyond
I would like to say thanks to everyone who has gave me their input on
translators. So far, I am looking at Gentran, Mercator, Trinary, and
the SeeBeyond product. (NT choices are hard, if this were an AS/400
shop the choice would be easy - Extol).
My requirements are fairly straightforward. I have approx. 25
trading partners, which covers our billing, inventory, and client
services.
What I am looking for is a translator package that can handle
proprietary documents easily (either by creating a prop. standard, or
by doing a2a mapping), FTP connectivity, Advantis connectivity, XML
translation capability, solid mapping interface (preferably drag-and-
drop, with flexibility), and since we will be using JDE One World XE,
I would like to see some interfaces/testimonials. Now some of these
are fairly standard in most, but they are my requirements.
Any one have any feedback on the SeeBeyond product?
