Required Skill Sets and Level of Competency:

* Expert-level knowledge of the Mercator system and 27X and
837I/P/D type trees.

* Expert-level knowledge and experience in the development of
Mercator maps.

* Expert-level knowledge and understanding of the HIPAA 27X and
837 Implementation Guides.

* Advanced knowledge of the Oracle database management system.

* Knowledge of the various code sets (internal and external) used
in the HIPAA standards and the changes mandated.

* Knowledge of Sun Solaris.


Statement of Work





* Develop and test the map for 27X and 837 IPD 4010A.





* Create unit and string test documentation and test cases



* Complete all technical documentation required to support the
maps



* Transition maps to designated BSDI EDI owners of maps.
