Bonjour Dan,
When we receive EDI POs, we can check in our database if we already receive
that PO number from that customer. If so, we just print the EDI PO at the
proper Sale Office with the mention "DUPLICATE" at the top of the PO. The
buyer can then review it and make sure that this is a real duplicate and not
"a change to a purchase order". We do not used EDI control numbers to check
for duplicates.

Does anyone else have trading partners that send duplicate documents
within an ISA envelope?
