EDI Translators and EDIInt

Subject: EDI Translators and EDIInt

Hi Everyone!

We have been using Trading Partner 32 by Mercator (TSI) for several years now
and as you know it is being dis-continued next year. In addition to possibly
replacing this EDI translator, I am also anticipating that we will need to
support the EDIInt standard (or other related technologies, such as XML) in the
near future. Since I have been focused on other areas for quite some time now,
my knowledge of this area is somewhat outdated and I have a couple of questions
for the group..

1. Are there integrated products out there that handle legacy "EDI Translation",
bisync communications, AND encrypted communication such as EDIInt? Or do you
have to get separate products?

2. Does EDIInt typically require any other supporting software, such as a
dedicated email server?

Thanks,

Don Allen

Additional Information:
We have about 45 Trading Partners exchanging PO's, Invoices, and Shipping
documents. Our volume is less than 10,000 documents per month. EDI runs on a
Windows 95 machine interfaced to custom developed applications on UNIX. We
currently connect to a VAN, Wal-Mart, and a few bisync direct-connects.
