HIPAA Basic question

Hello,

I have couple of question about the latest HIPAA's EDI implementation.

1) Is there any seperate commitee responsible for creation of EDI document
standards which is being dictated according to the details in HIPAA?
2) Are the EDI standard documents for HIPAA any different than Ansi X12 EDI
standard documents defined for Health-care Industry? If yes, where can I find
the differences?
