Covast huh? From the people I have spoken to, not many of even heard of the
product also many people have told me - you be the judge here : BizTalk is
a Microsoft product, Covast is a BizTalk adapter however Microsoft uses
Sterling for their EDI translator........?

We use Sterling Gentran Server. Recently we had Sterling provide a
demonstration on their new Gentran Integration Suite product. We also had
Microsoft demonstrate BizTalk. Both are similar products, both priced
almost the same. However, the problem I see with BizTalk is that for
multiple standards, such as EDI, XML, RosettaNet, AS2, ebXML you must set a
relationship up for each partner, each standard. Using Sterling you can
setup one partner and assign many different standards to it. Also the
Business Process Modeler is much more clearer in Sterling than in BizTalk.
Don't get me wrong, I do see that BizTalk has some neat features, I just
don't see it being that user friendly.

Is the Covast product certified for AS2?

I would also like to learn more about this product if anyone wants to
contact me. We are using Biztalk for our MS orders as they require,
however I would like to see the product be able to better support our
traditional batch oriented X.12, flat file and EDIFACT customers.
Plus the Covast folks are advertising AS2, and better Functional
Acknowledgment support.
