X12: element 447

Hi.

X12 element 447 (loop ID) has Max Length of 6 characters since version 3062.
But it was changed back to 4 characters since version 4042.



Is there any reason behind this change ? For example, It does not allow
correct creation of 997 acknowledgement transaction for transaction 215
where loop ID consists from 5 characters.
