Lexicom is just a piece of software that you have on your end. It provides
the encryption (sp) that you need to send data via AS2.

I am not familiar with the Lexicom product but I have a quick question-
isn't that still going through a 3rd party. If so, why do it? Wouldn't
that be defeating the purpose of AS2 machine-to-machine communications? I
thought one of the major pushes of AS2 was to avoid 3rd parties. If that is
the scenario, you still have another point of failure, which I thought was
what you are trying to avoid. Just wondering. If I am wrong then I am sure
the product is great.

We are also using Cleo's Lexicom Software and I agree with Ron. Setup and
testing have is just taken a day or 2. Also their technical staff is very
helpful with "any" questions you might have. We are sending our data
through Sterling's Connect Enterprise Gateway to the mainframe and from the
mainframe after we receive it AS2 through Lexicom or are sending it AS2 to
our partners. Tests with Wal-Mart are going well.

Hi,
A question for anyone who has implemented AS2 using one of the
preconfigured packages such as isoft or btrade. Once you had
your HTTP server in place, how many days did you spend installing and
configuring the EDIINT software before having a successful test?
