VA eCommerce Forum Educational - May 14th - Register Today!!!

Dear eCommerce Professional,
As more and more companies are looking into utilizing EDI over the
Internet (EDIINT) many questions start to arise. What are the impacts
to your current EDI systems architecture? Is it secure? What are the
costs involved? Isn't the Internet free? Whether you are just
interested in learning more about these communications options or are
being mandated by a current trading partner to do EDI over the
Internet, this session will offer you insights into options for
implementing a solution.
Regards,
Stephen Petersen

[DETAILS]
+ EDIINT - Considerations When a Trading Partner Mandates EDI Over the
Internet
+ Dean Delserro (Product Marketing Manager, EasyLink Services
Corporation)
Recently, several large organization have mandated EDIINT AS2
communications throughout their trading community. Mr. Delserro's
presentation will cover considerations before implementing an EDIINT
solution yourself, and how VANs can play a role in helping
organizations become compliant without purchasing and installing new
applications.
+ Beyond Wal*Mart: Is EDIINT Right for Your Company? Is It Enough?
+ Ken Price (Solutions Architect, Cyclone Commerce, Inc.)
A great deal of news has surrounded EDIINT since Wal*Mart's mandate
that its suppliers trade with it via AS2, but very little analysis or
practical
advise has accompanied this mandate. Is EDIINT right for your
company? What are the firewall issues and other pitfalls of AS2? What
are the best practices for implementing as EDIINT solution and is it
enough to maximize your value chain opportunities? As a Solutions
Architect for Cyclone Commerce, Ken Price will provide a practical
overview of EDIINT, explain the benefits you can expect, the
challenges you should plan for, and the questions you haven't yet
thought to ask.
