augmentaion/project based services company based in the Pacific
Northwest (Portland, OR & Seattle, WA)

DESCRIPTION:
Our client's eBusiness EDI provides EDI infrastructure support
for their US, Europe, and Canada divisions. This group supports
business units and corresponding business partners that utilize the
electronic exchange of trading documents in an industry standard
format,including:
·Retail account logistics and sales
·Product creation
·Transportation
·Foreign trade
·Retailers
The goal of EDI is to provide a link between our client and larger /
smaller companies wishing to transfer information. To accomplish
this goal, they seek seasoned contract professionals to assist them
in an analysis or development role.
Order management expert (3):
·Retail experience Order management (SAP SD functionality)
·Retail experience w/Collaborative Replenishment (CPFR)
Inventory Management expert (2):
·Inventory Management (SAP MM functionality)
Logistics/3PL expert (4)
·Logistics/3PL experience to work on NSC with Deliver - 3PL (SAP
SD/LES)
Foreign Trade expert (1)
·Knowledge on Broker and Customs requirements preferred Logistics
expertise a possibl
REQUIRED SKILLS:
EDI Experience:
·Solid understanding of EDI and its business applicability and
value.
·Experience in designing and implementing EDI standards (X12,
EDIFACT).
·Designs, constructs and implements EDI solutions consistent with
corporate strategies.
·Develops, recommends and implements best practices and quality
processes that produce repeatable and predictable results.
Business Analyst Experience:
·Experience with technical analysis including the ability to
discover and recommend solutions, define business impacts and provide
technical analysis to new EDI initiatives and enhancements important.
·Engage IT resources (integrators, application developers and EDI
mappers) in the analysis, construction, testing and implementation of
EDI interfaces.
·Be able to communicate at both an overview and detail level. Able
to communicate at both conceptual and delivery levels.
External Partner Experience:
·Collaborate with business partners inside and outside of to
define global business processes and information requirements
building on industry best practices and EDI standards.
Project Management Experience:
