Subject: [EDI-L] Winn-Dixie AS2
In consultation with Ann Stuckey, EDI Manager at Winn-Dixie, this
message is being posted. My name is Gregg Lanni and I am the
Director of Technical Sales at ICC, Winn-Dixie's EDI provider.

There have been several confusing posts on this board concerning Winn-
Dixie's recently announced Trading Partner Program.

The first issue concerns AS2. Winn-Dixie has implemented AS2 on a
very small scale. Winn-Dixie is not currently offering a direct AS2
option to additional Trading Partners. This has lead to confusion in
regard to AS2. Those companies that have adopted AS2 as a standard
may send AS2 documents to ICC, ICC will accept these documents and
forward them to Winn-Dixie. Winn-Dixie Trading Partners interested
in using AS2 in this fashion should select Option 1 on the
alternatives letter and fax that selection before the April 30
deadline as requested.

The second issue concerns the use of Value Added Networks other than
ICC. Current Winn-Dixie Trading Partners may certainly continue to
use their VAN, and are under no obligation to switch to ICC. Trading
Partners who prefer this alternative should choose Option 2 on the
alternatives letter and fax that selection before the April 30
deadline as requested. Please note that neither Winn-Dixie nor ICC
has any agreements with other VANs concerning the billing associated
with Option 2 of their Trading Partner program.

The third issue concerns the use of the ICC.CATALOG. Winn-Dixie is
not yet in production with this product. They will notify all their
Trading Partners as this phase of the project approaches
implementation. Also, please note that Winn-Dixie does not have a
UCC.Net relationship. If this situation changes in the future they
will contact their Trading Partners.

If you have any questions about this program, please contact me at

Thanks for the opportunity to clarify.

Gregg Lanni
