RE: Winn-Dixie AS2

Dwight and all:
I asked the same question of Gregg of ICC and got the following, in essence
even if we want to use AS2 and bypass the VAN we must still sign up for an
ICC mailbox and accept Winn Dixie's VAN bills.
Wow, very expensive VAN services IMHO!
Regards,
Bob

Thanks for the clarification. Does choosing AS2 mean that we still must
pay
the setup/monthly fees that you impose?

Greg
I am confused. You state that "Current Winn-Dixie Trading Partners may
certainly continue to use their VAN, and are under no obligation to switch
to ICC. Trading Partners who prefer this alternative should choose Option 2
on the alternatives letter and fax that selection before the April 30
deadline as requested." Yet option 2 requires the trading partner to become
an ICC customer and pay higher rates then if they connected directly to ICC.
Option one, of course, is also signing up for ICC services. It does not
mention AS2, but does mention that the trading partner will be picking up
the Winn-Dixie charges in addition to their charges on ICC.
Am I understanding this correctly?
