Re: <TECH/SALES> Web EDI solution ??

Raj,
In the case of connecting to a Web site as you described, our
experience has been that some companies have created these Web site
mechanisms for suppliers who do not have any EDI (or equivalent)
capabilities. They are not intended to force all suppliers to go
through these Web forms. Those suppliers who can support EDI almost
always have the option of sending/receiving transactions that way.
Our outsourced EDI service, NetPath, is designed to enable companies
in the situation you describe to have a single standardized front-
end to handle their EDI needs without having to deal with each Web
site individually, to interface directly with their accounting or
ERP system, to set-up and test all trading partners, and to manage
the transaction flow on an on-going basis.
If you think this may provide you the support you need and want to
explore this further, please contact me off-line.
