It's a UNIX style-date: the number of seconds elapsed from the start of
January 1, 1970. There are 86400 seconds in a day. That makes 31536000
seconds in a non-leap year. So, there are a little more than 33 years'
worth of seconds in your first example, 1048330894 - making a date
sometime in early 2003.

Hello,
We are using Gentran 2.1.1 & DB Oracle 8.1.5.
I am trying to take a report from oracle from the "interchange_tb"
wherein the date of interchange is stored. It looks to me that it is
encrypted. Even though in Oracle table, it shows the field type as
"number". The data stored is something like this:
Oracle data Actual from Interchange
1048330894 22.02.03 16:31:55
1048330900 22.02.03 16:31:56
Can somebody help me out in decrypting this date...
