85% of automotive SMBs, that I have worked with, manage there CUMs external
to there financial / ERP system. They use a variety of tools to manage
their CUMs: EDI translators, Excel spreadsheets, CUM Management systems and
the very latest in technology: paper & pencil.
The automotive supply chain uses cumulatives (CUMs). What other supply
chain uses CUMs? With internet eCommerce, supplier managed inventory and
other technologies, what is the future of using CUMs?
