Brian,
Are you looking to outsource, or for a translator? Either way, strengths
and weaknesses really depend a great deal on your needs and your IT's
staff's time and abilities. What might be great (or an absolute minimum)
for a large firm with a large and diversely skilled IT staff that needs to
translate thousands of different documents an hour in various formats will,
you should pardon the expression, [expletive deleted], for a small company that expects the
network admin and receptionist to team up and deal with 10-12 docs a week
this in their "spare time". Cost, of course, is also a factor.

I am trying to create a short list of potential vendors for an EDI
solution for our company. Is there a list that ranks EDI
vendors/applications that could help reduce my current list into a short
list? If one is available, can you send me the link or list?
Even better would be a list that would list the strengths and weaknesses
of each application. Hopefully that is not wishful thinking.
