Re: How does UCCNet work

As I understand it, QRS provides a service to the retail marketplace that is
similar to the service that UCCnet is providing (initially, now) to the
grocery marketplace.
The motivation for UCCnet to establish this service is that currently there
is no service for the grocery marketplace that is similar to what QRS
provides to the retail marketplace.
I also understand that the long-term role of UCCnet is purported to be that
of a coordinator of such services, and that it may indeed outsource some
"UCCnet" services to other providers (eg. QRS for the retail marketplace)
while bringing all such services for many marketplaces under the UCCnet
umbrella.
Anyone want to agree or disagree?
Dave
