Re: any quickbooks gurus out there?

QuickBooks (which I've used for several years) has a lot of import and
export features. Unfortunately, Intuit hasn't gone out of their way to
tell you much about them. For information about IIF files, the QB manual
is pretty useless but the on-line help is fairly good. Also unfortunate is
that Invoices aren't listed among the items that are easily imported or
exported.
You may have better luck working with XML, which is another of those nice,
undocumented features (at least undocumented for most of us). Intuit has,
however, gone to great lengths to reveal the inner workings to developers
wanting to create integrated applications. You can find more information
at developer.intuit.com. For all I know they may even have information
about importing/exporting invoices as IIF files.
