Error '785'

Hi all,
I am working on Gentran for Inbound processing. I am getting
the error message as follows while executing the JCL:

MANDATORY FIELD/ELEMENT MISSING.
0 785 1 '31' 60 ** WARNING **
MANDATORY FIELD/ELEMENT MISSING.
I am not able to understand where should I go and see the
mandatory fields referred to here. And how can I resolve this error.
Please help..

P.S: I am a novice in Gentran. Hence may be my question would be very
basic one.
