the secret is two ids - test and prod. don't give them the prod id
until you're happy with the end-to-end
test. you probably want to do a dummy (generic) test first to check
connectivity, but most partners
want live data (or an old po) to check all the rest of the good stuff -
can i cross the upc numbers,
do the orders generate, are the 810 and 856 correct when they come back
(i sent upc - you sent
your id numbers ... bad!), are the ucc128 labels accurate and can i scan
them?
of course, a well written plan and implementation guide will make the
process easier for all involved.
