Re: Small company moving to EDI invoices <SALES>

1. It is possible (not fun) to read an EDI document using your TP's
guideline. Short of that, you'll want to use some EDI translator.
2. If all you want to do is *read* an 810 invoice (and then, presumably,
manually re-enter the invoice information into your backend
businesssoftware), almost any EDI translator will work for you.
3. If you want to translate the 810 invoice into an invoice in your
backend business software electronically, then you will need a translator
that can be integrated with your backend software.
So, if Option 3 is your choice, you might start by telling us what backend
software you are using to run you business and what database/OS it is
running on.
Then you can expect to receive information about EDI translators that can
integrate directly with your backend software.
