File - Reminder
This message is configured to go out automatically on a monthly basis as a
reminder message.
If you have a Yahoo ID already set up for the list, you don't need to
unsubscribe from the list if you are going on vacation or otherwise going to be
away from your email. Simply change your settings to indicate that you don't
want to receive email.
You can do that by clicking on Edit my Membership and selecting the "No Email"
selection under the section Message Delivery.
This saves YOU the hassle of unsubscribing, and Your Friendly Moderator the
hassle of re-approving you for membership.
Getting a Yahoo ID is as simple as going to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EDI-L
and clicking on the Register link. You'll be walked through all the necessary
steps to get a Yahoo ID. This is NOT an email address, it's simply to validate
you onto the Yahoo system and allows you to use ALL the features of the EDI-L
group, such as the database, the hyperlink library and you can even put a poll
together to ignore brands or types of EDI translators if you wish. :-{)
