What boon? Where? I just spent last night in a support group made up of
those of us who aren't seeing any boon. About 200 people at one division of
a major U.S. company are being booned right out the door this very day
because they "successfully" completed the offshore outsourcing project,
having been tasked these last months with training their own replacements.
If anybody finds this boon, would you please tell the rest of us how to get
to it?

Maybe we should offshore outsource this ivory tower economist and then he
can use his ivory ball to tell us how outsourcing will affect his economic
life.
What a bunch of crap. IMO, typical InformationWeek garbage.

Offshore Outsourcing: Boon For The U.S. Economy?
That's the contention of Carl Steidtmann, who says in a position
paper that it will lead to more higher-paying jobs in the United
States.
