Take a look at using a service bureau like SPS Commerce

We are a very small company who needs to communicate with one trading
partner only.
My needs are very simple: transmit 810's, 855's and receive 850's.
My trading partner has supplied the specs for each of the items
listed above.
It seems to me this is a fairly simple thing to do, just build a text
file and send it via ftp.
Who might have some software which might serve my needs?
