Since I've had the chance to discuss your needs with you, I would like to
clarify your requirements for the List. You are specifically looking for a
stand-alone desktop application that will perform with rip-n-read type
functionality and include direct FTP connectivity (you would prefer to avoid the
use of VAN services).
As I previously mentioned directly to you, Softshare has just released Vista 4.0
that now includes an FTP module. Softshare Vista 4.0 also supports AS1
connectivity and can accommodate AS2 through our partnerships with iSoft and
Cleo's LexiCom products. Of course, Softshare's VAN services are still
available should they be required for future trading partners you may add.
