When choosing an "inexpensive" EDI translator, do not just base your
decision on the "least" product license fees. Also look at the amount of
implementation effort that may be needed, which may end-up offsetting all
the license fees gains. And of course, quality support is very important.
Go for the one that -
(a) meets your current and foreseen future EDI requirements
(b) meets your support requirements
(c) least expensive = license fees + implementation effort
